  • HOW CAN I BOOK A TOUR?

If your booking is successful, you will receive a confirmation e-mail of your successful registration, at the e-mail address you have previously given in the form. If there is any problem with the booking, feel free to contact us.

  • WHAT ARE OUR TOURS LIKE?

Our tours pass in a friendly atmosphere. We help our tour participants with all things, provide them with riding advice, interpret if it is needed, organize evening programmes, and help them understand the local traditions in a country. We prepare you for the stages of the tour so that you can ride the distances alone if you wish.

  • HOW ARE OUR TOURS CONDUCTED?

Each tour starts at the starting point/place given in the itinerary and ends at the given ending point/place. All participants must arrive at the starting point at the given time. Every morning, after breakfast, before the beginning of a day’s ride, we hold briefings, where we talk about the route, attractions, rest stops etc. It is the time for you to choose whether you will ride alone or in a small group or join the tour guide. Breakfast and dinner times are given ahead, but we usually have breakfast between 8 and 9 a.m., and dinner is served between 7 and 8 p.m. During the day we have at least one longer break between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., lasting for at least one hour. We start the riding day around 9 – 9.30 a.m. and we are expected to arrive at the overnight accommodation around 6 p.m.

  • WHAT SPEED OF RIDING SHOULD WE EXPECT?

During our tours we try to avoid the motorways, but sometimes it is inevitable. On motorways we ride at 130 km/h, on roads our pace is 80 – 100 km/h, depending on the country we are at, and we obey the speed limit of 50 km/h in residential areas. Depending on the section of the route, as well as on the attractions to be seen, our pace will vary. So we will be alternately moving dynamically or at a sightseeing pace. Everyone will find his/her comfortable and safe riding speed.

  • CAN BEGINNERS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN A TOUR?

Our tours are not recommended for absolute beginners or for those who have just started riding a bike. For them, we recommend completing a driving training in the first place. Those motorcyclists who have a little more experience are welcome, since a motorcycle tour is an excellent opportunity to learn a lot and by the time it ends, you will be riding more confidently. We recommend the riding technique training courses to everyone, no matter if they are beginners or advanced!

  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS FOR A TOUR?

An advertized motorcycle tour is organized if the number of participants reaches 6 riders! The pillion does not count! If this is not the case, the tour is cancelled or arranged at some other time. The minimum number of participants is to be gathered before the booking deadline. In many cases the list of participants on the website is not relevant, since it can occur that participants book a tour by phone or e-mail, thus their names are listed on the website.

  • WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS?

We do not limit the maximum number of participants on a tour, since we have several tour guides so the participants can be divided into smaller groups. These smaller groups ride their daily route separately, but the daily sightseeing as well as the night programmes is done together.

  • IS IT NECESSARY TO SPEAK A FOREIGN LANGUAGE?

No, it is not necessary to have any knowledge of a foreign language. The tour guides speak several languages well and will gladly interpret for the participants in order to bridge the language barriers.

  • IS IT COMPULSORY TO FOLLOW THE TOUR GUIDE?

No! We have decided to give the riders freedom of decision how to complete the day’s ride. You are free to ride the route of your choice every day in a little group of your own (minimum 2 persons) or you can join the tour guide and benefit from his knowledge and experience. You must inform the tour guides about your choice every morning at the briefing or during the tour at a rest stop! In case you failed to do that, sanctions will be made!

  • WHEN DO I GET THE TOUR INFORMATION PACKET?

A participant gets it when the participation fee is paid.  After that, you will be sent the information package, consisting of the route, detailed description of the daily course of events and hotel information.

  • SHALL I GET A DOWNLOADABLE ROUTE FOR MY NAVIGATION DEVICE PRIOR TO THE TOUR?

Yes, we prepare the route in the format (files with GPX extension) downloadable to a navigation device. We use Garmin devices and for those we have immediately available unloadable routes, but we can solve the conversion to other devices as well. We send the routes to the participants by e-mail.

  • WHAT IS THE ACCOMMODATION LIKE?

When choosing accommodation it is very important for us that it is comfortable and clean. The rooms should be equipped with their own bathroom. We generally stay in 3 and 4-star hotels, carefully selected and always with a local flair. There are tours on which we try to choose local, familiar hotels and accommodation in order to get to know the local customs as well as the local people better. Our accommodation is almost always half board, which means breakfast and dinner, and of course making sure to get to know the local specialties.

  • HOW MANY HOURS DO WE SPEND RIDING?

We generally spend 6-8 hours riding per day. Our riding day starts after breakfast, when we set off and it ends when we arrive at our accommodation, at least 1 hour before dinner time. During the day we stop several times to marvel at the scenery, take photographs, refuel and eat.

  • WHAT SORT OF DISTANCES WILL BE COVERED IN ONE DAY?

It depends on the type of the route for the day. Sometimes the distance can be 100 km, but it can reach even 350-400 kilometres. The very twisty mountain stages obviously cover a shorter distance than the gently curving ones, with longer straight parts.

  • DOES THE PARTICIPATION FEE INCLUDE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

No, the participation fee does not include travel insurance. Everyone should make the travel insurance for themselves; we could possibly help with choosing the adequate insurance company.

  • HOW CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING? UNTIL WHAT TIME IS IT POSSIBLE?

The customer may cancel the tour free of charge at any time before the start of the trip, by writing an e-mail message! Yes, we can provide a support van which transports your luggage, and in case of a problem, offers technical assistance etc. Unfortunately, this option is not included in the basic participation fee. At the end of all tour descriptions it is clearly indicated how much would the total costs of a support van be. The costs are divided among those participants who require it. In case you require a support van, you should request it on the application form when booking a tour!
